ABSTRACT

En nuestra práctica médica diaria hemos encontrado pacientes de edad pediátrica con retención urinaria en los que no se ha seguido un algoritmo adecuado para su estudio; exponemos brevemente estos dos casos a consideración para evidenciar la importancia de una atención inmediata en niños con esta sintomatología.


In our daily medical practice we have found patients of pediatric age with uretic retention with whom there has not been followed a suitable algorithm to its study; we expound briefly these two cases to consideration to evidence the importance on inmediate attention of children with this symptomatology.

ABSTRACT

Los tumores óseos extraoculares con repercusión ocular han sido descritos hace muchos años, pero no son afecciones frecuentes; existen variados mecanismos por los que producen sintomatología en el globo ocular, en ocasiones el diagnóstico causal es difícil y prolongado. Se presenta un paciente que debuta con signos y síntomas originados por una tumoración ósea del seno frontal.


The osseous extraocular tumors with ocular repercussion have been the described for many years, but they are not frequent affections; there exist varied mechanisms for symptomatology in the ocular globe, sometimes the causative diagnosis is difficult and prolonged. It is the case of a patient who attended the Ophthalmology service of Morón city hospital with ocular signs and symptoms which after being studied, were originated by an osseous tumor of the frontal sine, the patient evolved favorably, the initial symptomatology resolved with medical treatment, no surgical procedure was required.
